Barrier-focused hybrid sunscreen with five ceramides, hyaluronic acid, ethyl ascorbic acid and zinc oxide.

Our Take
The most barrier-focused option in this list. Five different ceramides plus cholesterol mimic the skin's own lipid structure — meaningfully useful for compromised or dry skin. Zinc oxide is added to the predominantly chemical filter base, giving it slight mineral support. The ethyl ascorbic acid is gentle and stable. The downside is the same as several others here: octinoxate is present. If you're not specifically avoiding octinoxate, this is one of the best-formulated options for anyone with a damaged barrier or sensitive, dry skin.
