What it does

Water-soluble UVA filter.

Benefits

Strong short-UVA (UVA2) protection. Water-soluble, so works in light, hydrating textures. Photo-stable when properly formulated.

Concerns & Risks

Generally very well tolerated. Patented by L'Oréal, so historically less common in non-L'Oréal-group products, though now found in many Indian sunscreens.
