What it does

Chemical UVB filter and oil solubiliser.

Benefits

Absorbs UVB and helps dissolve other oil-soluble filters into the formula. Very low irritation profile compared to most chemical filters.

Concerns & Risks

Generally well tolerated. Salicylate-allergic individuals (rare) should patch-test. Provides only modest UVB on its own.
