Our Take
A well-tested workhorse with over 1.3 lakh reviews. Filter system pairs avobenzone (stabilised by octocrylene) with titanium dioxide and Uvinul T 150 — solid, but more conventional than the all-modern Deconstruct or Dot & Key formulas. The retinol inclusion in a sunscreen is unusual; the concentration is too low to be photosensitising or to deliver meaningful anti-aging benefit, so it reads more as a marketing hook than an active. Niacinamide and panthenol are at workable concentrations.
What we like
- ✓ Strong PA++++ UVA rating
- ✓ Niacinamide and panthenol genuinely supportive
- ✓ Affordable
- ✓ Massive review base for confidence
Worth knowing
- → Older-generation filter system relies on octocrylene + avobenzone
- → Retinol inclusion is more marketing than meaningful
- → Some reactive skin types react to octocrylene
Best for
Daily wear for oily/combination skin; users wanting added niacinamide
Avoid if
Sensitive skin reactive to octocrylene; pregnancy (retinol presence, however small)
