What it does

A small humectant and solvent that pulls water into the skin and keeps poorly soluble actives evenly dissolved in the formula.

Benefits

Helps antifungals stay in solution so the dose is consistent from first wash to last, and adds light hydration.

Concerns & Risks

A known contact allergen for a minority of people, more often reported in leave-on products than rinse-off. Can sting on broken or heavily inflamed skin.
