What it does

A metallic colourant used in some eyebrow and eyelash tints.

Benefits

Tints brows and lashes without a PPD-type colour-former.

Concerns & Risks

The EU allows it only for colouring eyelashes and eyebrows, at up to 4%, with a label warning to rinse the eyes immediately if it gets in them. It should not be in an ordinary scalp hair dye sold to EU standards.
